Day 1: Melbourne to Great Ocean Road
Kick off your journey along the spectacular Great Ocean Road, where you’ll marvel at the incredible rock formations of the famous 12 Apostles. Take a sweet break on the Surf Coast at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and indulge in delicious treats. Wander through the towering trees of the ancient Great Otway National Park rainforest, discovering nature’s giants. Hear the haunting stories behind the shipwreck coast as you explore the secluded Loch Ard Gorge and iconic Apostles. Along the way, spot native Australian wildlife in their natural habitat. After a full day of adventure, arrive at your cozy accommodation to rest up for the next day.

After lunch, journey westward toward Adelaide, passing unique sights like Dimboola Pink Lake and Nhill before crossing into South Australia at Bordertown. Arrive in Adelaide by evening, completing your incredible coastal and mountain adventure.

- Spending money – For snacks, drinks, souvenirs, or anything else you might want on the road.

Comfortable clothing suitable for varying weather conditions is recommended.

- Dietary requirements must be advised when booking. While we do our best to cater to most dietary needs, options are limited once the tour has commenced, so advance notice is essential.
- Any known medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking. This tour is physically demanding and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility.
- A moderate fitness level is required. Walks on this tour can be up to 2 km in length and may include rocky and steep terrain, often under direct sunlight. Walks are conducted at the guide’s discretion to ensure guest safety. Travellers aged 75 or over must provide a doctor’s certificate at least 30 days prior to departure.
- Travellers booked under the Basix Shared Accommodation fare (WMA2-B) will stay in shared bunk-style rooms with communal bathrooms. This touring brand and fare type is available to adults aged 18 years and over only and is not suitable for children.
- This tour is not suitable for mobility-impaired travellers, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, prams, or strollers.
- Each traveller is allowed one travel bag up to 23 kg (for one-way travel only) and one small day pack up to 5 kg. If you are travelling with additional or oversized luggage, please notify us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate.
- Itineraries and touring routes may vary due to seasonal conditions, park closures, or road access issues. We prioritise safety and will always adapt plans to ensure the best experience possible.
